A clinician decides. Not an algorithm.

How care works here

Three things happen, in this order, every time

No step is skipped to get you to checkout faster. The screening runs before payment, and a provider reviews your file before anything is prescribed.

Share your history

A medical intake that actually screens you

Five minutes of health history, current medications and goals. The exclusion criteria run as you answer, so you find out before you pay whether treatment is even on the table.

  • No card required to finish the intake
  • Built around provider exclusion criteria
  • Your state is checked up front

Meet your clinician

A licensed provider reviews your file, then talks to you

Video, phone or secure message, depending on what your state requires. Your provider decides whether a GLP-1 is clinically appropriate. Sometimes the answer is no, and they will tell you why.

  • Board-certified and licensed in your state
  • Modality set by state telehealth rules
  • Declines come with a reason

Start, then adjust

Dosing changes as your body responds

Medication ships to your door from a state-licensed pharmacy. Your provider titrates the dose over time based on your check-ins, side effects and progress.

  • Titration reviewed at every check-in
  • Message your care team between visits
  • Pause or stop whenever you decide to

What you are actually being prescribed

GLP-1 medications work on appetite and how quickly your stomach empties. They are not a cosmetic product and they are not for everyone, which is why a provider screens you before one is written.

  • Semaglutide or tirzepatide compounded by a state-licensed pharmacy, or a branded product where your provider judges that appropriate.
  • Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are not evaluated by the FDA for safety, efficacy or quality.
  • You see the exact drug and the exact dose before anything ships, and you can decline and ask about branded options instead.
  • Dosing starts low and moves only when your provider decides your response supports it.

Everything the program covers

The prescription is one part of it. The rest is the clinical attention that sets your dose, watches for side effects, and tells you when to stop.

The medication itself

A compounded GLP-1, or a branded one, whichever your provider judges appropriate. It is dispensed as part of the program, not sold to you separately afterwards.

Clinical oversight that continues

Your provider stays on your file. Dose changes, side-effect management and stop decisions are theirs to make with you, not a script you run alone.

Messaging between visits

Ask your care team a question without booking anything. Answers land in the portal.

Check-ins every few weeks

Weight, appetite and side effects logged on a schedule, so titration is based on your data.

Shipped cold, shipped discreet

Temperature-controlled delivery from a state-licensed pharmacy, in unbranded packaging.

Your whole treatment, in one place you can actually find

No phone tree and no chasing a pharmacy for an answer. The portal holds the decisions, the schedule and the paper trail.

  • Visit notes

What your provider decided, and the reasoning behind it.

  • Dose schedule

Your current dose and when the next change is due.

  • Messages

Ask your care team something without booking a visit.

  • Shipments

Tracking appears the moment the pharmacy releases an order.

  • Check-in log

Weight, appetite and side effects, plotted over time.

  • Billing

Pause, change or cancel without calling anyone.

In their words

What patients tell us afterwards

What sold me was the intake telling me I might not qualify. Every other site I tried acted like the answer was already yes.

Danielle O., Columbus, OH

My provider dropped my dose when the nausea got bad instead of telling me to push through it.

Marcus B., Tacoma, WA

I message a question at eleven at night and there is a real answer in the portal by morning.

Renata S., Fort Worth, TX

The box arrives cold and unmarked. My building manager has no idea what is in it, which is the point.

Ayo T., Atlanta, GA

Nobody tried to sell me a supplement stack on top. One prescription, and a provider who explained why it was that one.

Hyejin P., Bellevue, WA

I asked to pause for a month while I traveled. It took one message and there was no penalty and no sales pitch.

Grant W., Burlington, VT

Testimonials are from Mars Labs patients and describe their own experience. Individual results vary and are not guaranteed.

Before you start

The questions we get asked first

Getting started

Who actually qualifies?
A licensed provider decides, based on your BMI, weight history, medical conditions, current medications and lab or screening answers. Some people are declined, and some are declined for reasons that have nothing to do with weight. The assessment is free to complete, so you find out either way.
Does the assessment cost anything?
No. You can complete the full medical assessment without entering a card. Nothing is charged until a provider has reviewed your file and you have accepted a plan.
How long until I hear back?
Most files are reviewed within one to two business days. If your provider needs labs, a follow-up question or a records release, that can add time, and you will see the request in your portal rather than having to chase it.
Where do you operate?
Forty-seven states and the District of Columbia. We cannot treat patients in Alaska, Mississippi or New Jersey. The assessment checks your state before anything else, so you are not asked for thirty answers only to be turned away at the end.

The medication

Which medication will I be prescribed?
That is your provider’s clinical call. Depending on your history, it may be a compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide from a state-licensed pharmacy, or a branded product. You are told exactly what is prescribed, at what dose, before anything ships.
What does compounded mean, and is that a problem?
A compounded drug is prepared by a licensed pharmacy for an individual patient. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are not evaluated by the FDA for safety, efficacy or quality. Your provider will explain the difference and you can decline compounded treatment and ask about branded options instead.
What about side effects?
Nausea, constipation, reflux and fatigue are common early and often ease as your body adjusts. Serious risks exist, including pancreatitis, gallbladder problems and thyroid concerns tied to personal or family history. Your provider screens for these before prescribing and adjusts or stops treatment if you react badly.
How does it arrive?
From a state-licensed US pharmacy, in temperature-controlled packaging with no branding on the outside. Tracking appears in your portal when the pharmacy releases the order.

Continuing and stopping

Do you take insurance?
No. Mars Labs is cash-pay. We do not bill insurance and we do not submit claims on your behalf. You can ask your provider for documentation to submit yourself.
What does the program cover?
The medication, your provider visits, dose adjustments, check-ins, messaging with your care team and shipping, all as one program rather than a list of separate services. The terms and the refund policy set out the billing detail.
Can I stop?
Yes, from the portal, without a phone call. Orders already released to the pharmacy cannot be recalled, which is standard for prescription medication. The refund policy sets out exactly what is and is not refundable.
Can I pause instead of cancelling?
Yes. Message your care team and tell them for how long. Your chart stays intact so restarting does not mean starting the intake over.
